Larry was born and raised in Astoria Queens, N.Y. and is now living on Long Island. He started playing around the age of 14 or 15 playing hardcore/punk.  

Larry founded and played with N.Y. hardcore outfit Orange 9MM back in 1993 and recorded on their very first release, a 4 song self titled e.p. on Revelation Records. He also was the live drummer for Glassjaw for the last 4 years. They toured with bands such as the Deftones, Soulfly, New Found Glory, Alien Ant Farm, and Sparta, as well as playing the Ozzfest '02, and Warped tour '02 and '03.

Currently he is playing in Head Automatica with singer Daryl Palumbo whom also fronts the band Glassjaw. They have just released their first album on Warner Bros., produced by Dan Nakamura AKA Dan the Automator, famous for producing such acts as Handsome Boy Modeling School, Lovage with Mike Patton, and most successfully with the cartoon animated act Gorillaz fronted by Damon Albarn of Blur. 

The first album titled "Decadence" was released Aug.17. Since then they have been touring with bands like Ima Robot, Thursday, Lost Prophets, and the Used. This summer, Head Automatica played the second stage on the Curiosa festival opening up for the Cure with bands like Muse, Mogwai, Interpol, and The Rapture, among others.

I have been featured in Modern Drummer playing Premier drums in March '03, Rhythm magazine October '03 with an extensive look at the Gen-X set up I had rented in the U.K., and recently in the December '04 issue of Alternative Press, AP's "drummer special". Currently we are writing new material and rehearsing for our European tour with the Used in January and after that the Take Action tour with Sugarcult February thru March 2005."
